Materials Required
- Main Fabric: 1 fat quarter
- Applique Heart: A small piece of contrasting fabric
- Applique Tail: A small piece of fabric for the circle
- Interfacing: Heat n Bond fusible interfacing
- Filling: Toy stuffing
- Trim: Ribbon
- Essential Tools: Sewing machine, iron, pins, and coordinating thread
What You Will Learn / Techniques
- Template Tracing: Draw around the full-size bunny template onto two layers of fabric placed right sides together — no complicated pattern cutting.
- Stitch, Trim and Snip: Sew around the drawn outline leaving a 5cm gap, trim to a ¼" allowance and snip the corners for a neat finish once turned.
- Turning and Pressing: Pull the bunny through the gap, push out the seams and press for a crisp shape.
- Applique: Add the heart and circle tail using Heat n Bond, hot glue or hand stitching — whichever you prefer.
- Stuffing and Closing: Fill the ears first, stuff evenly, then close the gap by hand or machine.
