Returns and Refunds

Printed patterns and sewing kits

If you're not happy with a printed pattern or sewing kit, you can ask to return it within 30 days of receiving it. Items must be unused and in their original packaging, with your order number or proof of purchase.

To start a return, email us at admin@happydayssewing.co.uk before sending anything back. Items sent back without contacting us first can't be accepted. Once we've agreed the return, we'll send you a return label and instructions. Returns go to:

Damaged, faulty or wrong items

Please check your order when it arrives. If anything is damaged, faulty or not what you ordered, email us straight away and we'll put it right.

PDF patterns

PDF patterns are emailed instantly and can't be "sent back", so we don't offer refunds once a PDF has been delivered. If you have any trouble downloading or opening your files, email us and we'll help. Under the Consumer Rights Act you can still claim if a download is faulty: we'll refund you if there's a technical problem we can't fix, or if the pattern isn't as described. You can claim this within 60 days of purchase.

Workshops

If you can't make a workshop, please let us know as soon as you can. Places are limited to 6 per session, so we'll refund you if we're able to fill your place from someone else's booking. If we can't fill it, we're unable to offer a refund.

Items we can't take back

Sale items and gift certificates can't be returned.

Refunds

Once your return arrives and we've checked it, we'll let you know whether the refund is approved. Approved refunds go back to your original payment method within 10 working days. Your bank may take a little longer to show it. If you haven't received it within 15 working days of approval, please get in touch.

Exchanges

To swap an item, return the original as above and place a new order for the one you'd like.
