Gilbert Clip-On Dog Walking Bag – Printed Sewing Pattern & Instructions

GILBERT is a compact clip-on dog walking bag that fastens straight onto a lead, belt loop or bag strap with a lobster clasp, so your hands stay free on every walk. A grommet set into the front pocket lets poop bags pull through one at a time, and both the front pocket and the main compartment close with magnetic clasps.

  • Setting magnetic clasps: position the backing plate, cut the slits and bend the prongs — on the pocket, the bag front and both lining pieces
  • Making a folded tab: press and topstitch a four-fold fabric tab to carry the lobster clasp
  • Bag-in-a-bag assembly: join outer to lining, sew all round leaving a 10 cm gap, then turn through and close the gap
