What You Will Learn / Techniques
- Working with Fusible Fleece: Iron the interfacing onto the wrong side of the lining for a soft, padded finish.
- Turning Through a Gap: Sew outer and lining right sides together leaving a 10cm gap, snip the corners, then turn through and press.
- Finding the Centre Line: Fold the wallet in half and press a sharp crease to form the spine.
- Positioning the Felt Pages: Finger-press the felt (rather than ironing it), line up the creases and space the pages evenly.
- Sewing and Finishing: Stitch along the centre line to secure the pages, then topstitch all the way around the outer edge — which closes the turning gap and gives a neat finish.
