Sew a nappy and wipes wallet — the whole changing kit in one slim folder

ALEX holds a large pack of wipes, at least four nappies and a roll of nappy bags, so you can grab just the wallet instead of the whole changing bag for a quick trip out. It folds closed with a Velcro tab, and the pattern is easily sized up or down if you'd like it bigger or smaller.

What you'll learn

  • Making a folded Velcro closure tab
  • Building lined slip pockets with a neat contrast edge
  • Assembling the wallet and turning it through a gap
  • Inserting and topstitching the tab to finish

What it holds

A large pack of wipes, at least four nappies, and nappy bags. The pattern can be adjusted larger or smaller to suit.

What you'll need

½m of cotton for the main outer and inner, a fat quarter of contrasting cotton for the pocket linings and tab, and 20mm Velcro. Seam allowance is ¼".
